Safe for your PC and your games

Many customization tools get their power by loading code into Explorer or into games. That is what breaks after Windows updates and what anti-cheat systems flag. Velura does not do it.

What Velura never does

• Load code (DLLs) into games or any other program.
• Patch Windows theme files or system libraries.
• Read or change game memory.
• Hook your keyboard or mouse.

Every change can be undone

Before Velura changes a Windows setting, a cursor, a sound or a shortcut icon, its Backup Manager records what was there. Restore puts it back.

Anti-cheat games

Overlays and HUD frames are pictures in Velura’s own transparent window, which mouse clicks pass through. Even so, they stay off for games protected by BattlEye, Easy Anti-Cheat, Vanguard and similar systems, and Looks pause while such a game is in front. You can unlock a single game yourself, after a clear warning.

No tool can promise what a game’s anti-cheat will accept tomorrow. Velura keeps its own footprint as small as possible and stays out of protected games by default.

Velura has no account and sends no analytics. Discord status and song covers are off until you switch them on. Details are on the privacy page.
