Visiting this website
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. To deliver pages and to protect the site against attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data of every request: IP address, time, requested page, browser and operating system. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and we have a data processing agreement with Cloudflare. We do not combine this data with other sources.
We use no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. Fonts and images are served from this site itself; your browser does not contact Google or any other font service.
When you pick a skin on this site, your browser remembers that choice in its local storage, so the next page wears the same skin. This only happens because you asked for it, it never leaves your device, and you can delete it any time in your browser settings (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).
Downloads
The installer and updates are delivered from GitHub, operated by GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you download, GitHub processes your IP address and request data under its own privacy statement. GitHub is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
If you write to us, we use your address and message only to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them when the conversation is finished, unless the law requires us to keep them.
The Velura app
- No account, no analytics, no crash reports.
- Update check: only when you click the version line, the app asks GitHub whether a newer version exists. GitHub sees your IP address.
- Discord status (off by default): when you turn it on, the app talks to the Discord program on your PC. Discord, Inc. then shows the status to your friends, including song title and artist if you choose a music layout. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you withdraw by switching it off.
- Song covers (only with Discord status on): the app sends title and artist to Apple’s public iTunes search to find the cover image. Legal basis: your consent; you can turn song covers off separately.
- Everything else, your settings, skins and backups, stays on your PC.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. Write toinfo@velurahub.com.

No automated decisions
We make no automated decisions and do no profiling.
